Taxi Lognes → CDG Airport

The Lognes to Charles de Gaulle Airport route via the Francilienne is the preferred connection for the international research community based at the Cite Descartes campus. ESIEE Paris, the IGN and Universite Gustave Eiffel collectively generate a constant stream of academic travellers heading to global conferences, collaborative research programmes and international workshops. The Francilienne (A104) orbital motorway sweeps around the eastern perimeter of Paris, connecting to the A1 northbound for a fast 30-minute run to Roissy-CDG, entirely without entering central Paris. This is twice as fast as the public transport alternative, which involves the RER A to Chatelet-Les Halles followed by the RER B to CDG, totalling at least 1 hour and 20 minutes with a connection at one of Europe's busiest underground stations.
