Do you need an account to book a taxi?
No. A booking is made with just a phone number, and the confirmation arrives by SMS and email with the driver's name and the vehicle's plate. The account only serves to keep your ride history, save your usual addresses and track the receipts issued at the end of each journey.
What happens to my phone number after the ride?
It is kept for as long as the booking needs following up, then for three years from the last ride, matching the usual commercial limitation period. It is passed only to the driver handling the ride, never sold or rented. Our privacy policy sets out the retention periods and how to exercise your rights.
How do you delete an account already created?
Write to contact@taxineo.fr from the address linked to the account: the deletion is carried out and the account data erased within the following thirty days. Records of rides already made are kept beyond that where the law requires it, in particular for transport covered by health insurance.
