Taxi Perpignan → Andorra la Vella

The Principality of Andorra, a Pyrenean micro-state of 468 km² between France and Spain, attracts over eight million visitors annually — a staggering figure for a country of 80,000 inhabitants. French visitors come primarily for duty-free shopping (electronics, perfumes, alcohol and tobacco 20-40% cheaper than in France), winter skiing (Grandvalira, the Pyrenees' largest ski area with 210 km of runs), and the Caldea thermal spa, Southern Europe's largest spa complex. From Perpignan, the road crosses some of the most spectacular scenery in the eastern Pyrenees: the Têt valley, the deep Conflent gorges, the sun-drenched Cerdagne plateau, then the climb to the Col de Puymorens and the Pas de la Case entry point at 2,085 m. A taxi is the only door-to-door transport between Perpignan and Andorra, as no train or direct bus service exists.
