Taxi Digne-les-Bains → Gap

Digne-les-Bains to Gap connects the two main cities of the southern Alps via the famous Route Napoleon (N85), the historic road Napoleon took in March 1815 on his return from Elba. Digne, prefecture of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, is a thermal spa town with natural hot springs at 50 degrees and home to Europe's largest geological reserve, featuring a 200-million-year-old ammonite slab with 320 fossils. Gap, France's highest prefecture at 735 metres, is the gateway to Ecrins National Park and southern Alpine ski resorts. The route crosses stunning mountain landscapes over Col du Labouret (1,240 m) and Col de Maure (1,346 m), through villages like Seyne-les-Alpes and past Tallard's medieval castle and famous skydiving airfield. No tolls on this scenic mountain road.
