Vines stretch as far as the eye can see on both sides. At Gorges, turn onto the D59 to descend towards Clisson. Arrival offers a spectacular view of the medieval castle overlooking the Sèvre Nantaise river. The journey is entirely free with no tolls. Allow 30 minutes in normal conditions. Note: during Hellfest (4 days in June), access roads to Clisson are extremely busy and the route may be altered by diversions — your driver knows alternative routes to drop you as close as possible to the site.
