Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport (IATA: SXB) is the main airport for Alsace, serving over 1.3 million passengers annually with connections to major French, European and Mediterranean cities. Located in the municipality of Entzheim, just 12 km south-west of the cathedral, it provides quick access to the Alsatian capital. Strasbourg is home to the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights. The Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of pink Vosges sandstone, soars to 142 metres and houses a 16th-century astronomical clock.
